In light of the recent COVID-19 and the urgent need for plastic protective gear SLP Lighting, as a plastic lighting manufacturer, wanted to take a step to help.  With a few donated sheets from our supplier PLAKOLITE the project was born. The original idea was to donate 300 shields to the FaceShieldInitiativeSTL by MADEstl, the reality came to SLP Lighting and sister company Koller Craft, LLC teaming up together to purchase the entire stock of the plastic sheet available.  With the sheets our companies can produce and assemble many more face shields than the initial amount.   Our companies have since laser cut and assembled 3,000 face shields to donate local St. Louis hospitals such as BJC, SSM, Johns Hopkins, Sullivan and local first responders with another 3,000 coming soon.
