Combination of the Citadel 4™ & 4i™ Enclosures in a smaller unit for tight areas that need LED light.

CITADEL 4i Designed for Industrial Applications. Highly Adaptable and Robust. Completely compatible for LED Boards. Very durable materials.

Wide Gasketed Enclosures For Wet Or Dusty Locations. CITADEL 4™ Designed to minimize the retention of liquids or debris when hosed off. Very durable materials. Completely compatible for LED Boards.

CITADEL 2™ offers more versatility and benefits than any other weatherproof enclosure offered in North America. Fully compatible for LED Applications and high efficiency lighting.

CITADEL Common components that can be used with the Citadel Line of Enclosures

Profile Series

The Profile I is the first of its’ series of uniquiely shaped enclosures. The foundation is a versatile internal component system designed to stay the same which increases speed to market with reduced tooling on future housing designs in the Profile series.

CircLED

The CircLED is a thermally conductive molded polymer high bay, offering a lighter weight alternative to die cast fixtures, while thermally managing up to a 200 Watt LED Engine.

Parabolic Louvers

The cellular nature of parabolic louvers physically blocks the passage of light at angles above the shielding angle. The advantage of Parabolic Louvers is the high degree of controlled light distribution that they offer. This precise light control makes Parabolic Louver ideal for areas with moderate to high concentrations of computer terminals or other visually demanding environments This control is dependent upon the shielding angle offered by the specific louver and the degree of specularity of the finish. Parabolic Louver are the optimum choice for areas where visual comfort and controlled reflection off of vertical surfaces is critical.

Decorative Louvers

Decorative louvers perform a function and offer glare reduction to a lighting application while creating a unique design to the overall aesthetics of the area they are used in. Decorative louvers are great for areas such as retail, lobbies, conference or board rooms. Aluma-lux and Specular Gold are two decorative finishes that can be applied to many of the standard parabolic louvers for a pleasing decorative look.

Eggcrate

Even though eggcrate louvers do share a cellular nature with parabolic louvers, there are fundamental differences. The cell walls of eggcrate louvers are flat. and have either a diffuse finish, or are actually semi-transparent.

The cell walls of eggcrate louvers will block the view into the luminaire cavity at angles beyond the shielding angle. The reflectance of light off of the diffuse finish, or passage of light through the translucent cell walls provide a random distribution.

Eggcrate Louvers are appropriate for areas where brightness control is not critical. Large areas of ceiling can economically be covered to provide a sense of lightness and space.

Prismatic Lenses

Lenses refract light. The direction of incident light changes as it passes through a lens. Although the majority of light is directed downward within a given distribution, a portion of the light is refracted into the higher angles.

Prismatic Lenses will display more of the light source’s brightness than specular parabolic louvers. This additional brightness will tend to brighten the ceiling and upper portions of adjacent walls. Prismatic Lenses are most appropriate when brightness and economy are desired and where visual tasks are not being compromised.

Aluminum Louvers

The cellular nature of parabolic louvers physically blocks the passage of light at angles above the shielding angle. The specular aspect of the finish on the curved vertical surfaces reflects down at angles equal to or less than the shielding angle. When these louvers are viewed at angles beyond that shielding angle, they will have little of the brightness associated with the light source. The amount of brightness does depend directly upon the percent of specular reflectance from the finish.

Aluminum Baffles

The elemental simplicity of Aluminum baffles compliments the widest range of interior decors. The crisp 45° cut-off of the stock parts provides uniform shielding from the light source while maintaining a visual warmth not associated with parabolics. Custom widths, blade centers and side details are available for luminaries and ceiling applications.
